If your idea of heaven is cruising quiet yet exhilarating back roads through stunning mountain and jungle scenery, then this is the perfect tour for you. Northern Thailand has some of the best road riding available in Southeast Asia, brought together in this unforgettable 10 day journey.

Join a group of fellow enthusiasts from all over the world in sharing the unspoilt beauty of the national parks, waterfalls, rice paddies, deep river valleys and soaring mountains abundant throughout this trip. This route will take us on a loop through the spectacular Northern provinces of Tak, Phrae, Nan, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son, along the northern Thai border with Laos and Burma, starting and finishing in Chiang Mai. Touring classics such as the Mae Hong Son loop, the road of 1000 hairpin bends will make you a very happy biker.

Sight seeing highlights include the ruins of Sukhothai, the ancient capital of the first Thai kingdom and a world heritage site. Visits to Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand and Doi Tung, an impressive peak on the Burmese border. The geological wonder of cave lod in Mae Hong son province. The natural beauty of countless national parks. A daytrip into the famous golden triangle and some amazing Buddhist temples.

Not only is this trip a great biking experience, but also a fascinating insight into the rich and varied rural culture of this area. Hill tribe communities, each with unique customs and dress, dot the mountainous border regions of the North, making this one of the most ethnically diverse regions on the continent.

As on all our road tours, we will be taking small back roads wherever possible, not only to provide the best riding, but to give you a genuine experience of real life in rural Thailand away from the tourist areas.

If a non riding partner or friend would like to accompany you on the trip then they can travel in our luxury 4x4 vehicle (or people carrier depending on number of extra passengers). We will follow the same itinerary as the bikers, visiting the same sites, although the route will differ slightly.
